Words of Wisdom

Real change starts within your own community.

What are you doing today to contribute to the growth, positivity, and well-being of the people around you?

Having faith that God will watch over your community is powerful—but faith also calls for action. As it is written, “Faith without works is dead.” — James 2:26

Take a moment to reflect on how you can make a difference, even in the smallest way. Serve where you are. Support those around you. Uplift others with love and intention.

When you choose to act with purpose, you become a vessel for greater impact—and that’s where transformation begins.

Hey y’all,

I just have to share what God is doing in this season of my life. He has shifted me into something so special—ministering to the youth in my community—and it has completely captured my heart.

We started with zero kids… just mine. Week by week, it kept growing. Now we’re up to about 15 on a good day—and we’ve officially run out of chairs. That’s nothing but God.

Every single week, I leave in awe—sometimes even in tears—just overwhelmed with gratitude that He would choose to use me in this way. This isn’t just a Bible study… this is God moving right in our neighborhood.

One moment that deeply touched me—I was talking with some moms and mentioned a young boy that God kept highlighting to me. They told me he walks around the neighborhood with his Bible. That alone blessed me. But when I asked him what he’d been reading, he said, “I read 500 pages.” Mind you… he had just joined us a week ago.

Later, we were talking about God’s promises and the rainbow, and he said, “That’s why I had a dream about a rainbow and a bucket of candy at the end!” Y’all… God is speaking to these kids.

Do you understand how powerful that is?

These children are hungry. They’re asking for prayer for school, asking questions about God, showing up early, and even flagging me down in the street just to ask if Bible study is that day. Some of them live nearby and come with so much excitement and expectation.

This is what happens when we make space for God to move.

My heart is so full. I will never take this assignment for granted. God loves His children so deeply, and I’m so thankful He would trust me to pour into them.

If this encouraged you, let it be a reminder—what may seem small can turn into something powerful when God is in it.

✨ This is what real, lived-out ministry looks like—not a stage, not a platform, but transformation happening right in the neighborhood.

✨ I didn’t just start a Bible study… I created a space where kids feel seen, safe, and hungry for God. That’s why they’re showing up early, flagging me down, and asking questions. That’s not coincidence—that’s fruit.

✨ This is growth. From just my kids to 15 and counting, running out of chairs—that’s one of the clearest signs that God is breathing on this. When something is truly from Him, it multiplies beyond what we could plan or manage.

✨ What stands out most is this:
These kids aren’t just attending—they’re engaging. They’re asking for prayer, sharing their lives, and applying what they’re learning. That means I’m not just teaching—I’m discipling.

All glory to Him. 🙌🏽
